NILOM 2017 was more explosive than Dynamite!

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

(John 15:16)

A Heavenly Ambience

In the heavenly ambience that was set by the Holy Spirit and angels present at NILOM 2017, participants were truly blessed to receive deep insight from the Word of God on the Gospel, intercession and discipleship.

About NILOM

NILOM is an annual soul winning conference organized under the aegis of High School Campaign for Christ (an outreach arm of G-Youth) to train God’s people to effectively reach out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. NILOM means necessity is laid on me.
The theme of NILOM 2017 was “Lasting Fruit”. It was held at the Harvest Cathedral of Gospel Light International Church, Nungua, on Monday 3rd July, 2017. In John 15:16, Jesus said, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” Thus, the focus of this year’s conference was to teach delegates how to retain souls won. It was power-packed as the Word from Pastor Sam and Minister David came forth to ignite explosive desire and love to preach the Gospel and intercede.

Senior Apostle Henry Dodoo-Amoo

The man of God, Apostle Henry Dodoo-Amoo shared riveting insights on discipleship and follow up that stirred participants to bear lasting fruit!

A Time of Refreshing

Brother Francis also shared an awesome spoken word with the audience entitled “I’m in love with a Man”

What Message are we sent to Preach?

Opening the conference with the first session, Pastor Sam shared on the Gospel that we are sent to preach. He enunciated, “We are not sent to condemn them but to bring hope to them. The Gospel is a Message of hope.” He disclosed, “Our Gospel is not about skirt and blouse or about earring and make-up!”
Pastor Sam adumbrated three key elements of every Gospel message viz.:

# It shows man’s need for a Saviour.

# Jesus Christ is the focal point of the Message.

# Salvation or eternal life is a free gift that is received by faith.

Pastor Samuel Fianko teaching the Gospel

Reading from Romans 5:1-17, Pastor Sam walked participants through the Gospel in simplicity.

The session wrapped up with a time of prayer for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Ephesians 1:17-19.
From Akon to Intercessor

In the highly anointed second session, Minister David Kwao taught on “Developing the spirit of an Intercessor”. Reading from Ezekiel 22:29-31, the man of God explained that God is looking for intercessors. He noted, “Ghana is enjoying peace not because of good governance but because there are intercessors in the land.”
He pointed out that there are two categories of Christians: accusers and intercessors. Choose to be an intercessor!

Minister David in earnest prayer

Minister David further outlined three keys to developing the Spirit of an Intercessor:
# You need a burden

# You have to develop the Spirit of prayer or travail

# An intercessor is a soul winner

Amidst declarations and prayers, the man of God led participants in a time of fervent intercession for Ghana, our families and our communities.
Lasting Fruit!

The hearts of attendees welled up with great expectation as they looked forward to receiving the ministry of Senior Apostle Henry Dodoo-Amoo. The man of God lauded the organising committee for putting together such a glorious conference and commended attendees for denying themselves of the pleasure of rest on such a holiday.
He shared deeply revelatory truths on causing our fruit to remain. He said, “To let your fruit remain, you yourself must remain.”

The man of God laid the foundation of first principles.

Senior Apostle Henry Dodoo-Amoo teaching on Discipleship & Follow-up

He taught on true saving faith, saying, “Making Christ your Saviour is different from making Christ your Lord.”
He noted that making Christ Lord is what makes the difference. He emphasized that the Lordship of Jesus in a man’s life enables him to obey Him totally.

He shared on how costly it is to be a disciple of Christ.
Six Essentials of Follow up

Senior Apostle Dodoo-Amoo walked participants through six essentials of follow-up viz.:

# Pray for the new soul (Galatians 4:19)

# Feed them with the true Word of God (1 Thessalonians 2:7-9; 1 Peter 2:2)

# Build a loving relationship (1 Thessalonians 2:7-9)

# Make sure that the person fellowships with other believers (Acts 2:42-46)

# Encourage them to share their conversion story

# Teach them how to relate to the Holy Spirit on a daily basis through quiet time.
NILOM 2017 ended on a high note as Apostle Dodoo-Amoo knelt together with the army of soul winners in prayer. There was a mighty outpouring of the Spirit upon everyone present!
Oh! What a day it was! We shall continue to bear fruit that remains forever!
God bless each partner abundantly! May your seeds sown yield lasting fruit!
