Frame your “Aion”

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God… (Hebrews 11:3).

The Greek word “aion,” translated, “worlds” above refers to “course of life”; the structure and administration of one’s life; how things go with you and how they work around you from day to day, including how they affect your hopes and aspirations. Our opening verse shows that with your faith and through God’s Word, you can frame the course of your life to be consistent with God’s plan and be everything you want to be.

Read our opening verse again; it says through faith, the world’s system, with respect to socio-economic structures and environmental management, were programmed through words that came out of the mouth of God. This is the power of prophecy! Today’s world was shaped by prophetic words of years ago.

Now, if the successive ages of men and societies were framed by God’s prophetic words, and we’re born after Him, it therefore shows the right we have to determine what should happen in our lives and in our world. You’re to reprogramme your life and create your future with the words you speak. If you haven’t been doing this, begin today to frame your life, your world, and your times! What kind of life do you want to have in the next ten, twenty or thirty years? It all depends on you.

Many who are in debt, defeat, despondency, sickness and frustration today, framed their lives that way many years ago with their words. If that has happened to you, here’s the good news: you can begin to re-programme your life with the Word, and it starts first, by changing your way of thinking. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Through the ministry of the Word, you experience a metamorphosis—a transformation in your life and circumstances from glory to glory. You’re able to scrutinize and disallow illegal transactions and imports such as sickness, poverty, death, defeat, etc., from your “aion”—your course of life. Blessed be God!

My mind is renewed by the Word to think the right thoughts and speak the right words that transform my life and circumstances. The structure and administration of my life are perfected in line with God’s perfect will for me, and I dwell in health, peace and abundance everyday, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

|| Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. ||

|| Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ||

#Quotidian…grow daily!

Random Thoughts [Victory over the raging battle]

Have you ever been in that spot where what your flesh wanted so badly was what you needed to stay so far away from?
I have been advised that, “You can eat anything you like but after 25, you have to be careful about your diet.”
If I were to translate that into life terms, I’d say, “You can live anyhow you like- hear any music, watch anything you like, do whatever you wanna do- if Jesus is not your Lord…because the devil’s your dad!”
After receiving Jesus as your Lord, your life is no longer yours and you cannot, should not, and must not live for yourself. You must live for Jesus (see 2 Corinthians 5:15).
It seems many of my random thoughts are coming up from my travels but I suppose it’s a good thing- more travelling!
So, we were on board a bus bound for Kumasi and then we stopped to stretch at Linda Dor, a popular restaurant. I got down to stretch and sauntered around. Then I walked to the bakery. I bought a loaf of wheat bread. Then, when I turned to return to the bus, something I had been desiring for months caught my eye- a burger. The last burger I had was six months before. Now this burger was dancing in front of me. I’m not much of a diet person but at least I think in terms of the calories I’m accumulating when I’m making food choices. I stood in front of the showcase for about 2 minutes as the burgers danced in front of me. Then suddenly, I remembered the words of my pastor: after 25, you have to be careful about your diet.
At that moment, the attendant was about to entice me. I said, “Oh! Don’t worry. I’m fine.” Then I walked away towards the bus, wheat bread in hand.
I won the battle raging within! Glory!
Don’t we all face such real-life temptations staring us in the face daily? It may not be food. But it may be some TV show that threatens to obliterate your faith if you don’t desist from it. It could be porn. It could be worldly music. It could be anything at all that weakens you spiritually and makes a thick cloud of guilt descend on you after indulging in it.
Truth is this: your only way out is the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Remember Galatians 5:16? It says, “…walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
Lust is a terrible canker that consumes you subtly. It does so with the object of paralysing you…and preventing you from having intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
I won the raging battle because I remembered those words concerning eating properly.
Store the words of God in your heart. Make huge deposits of the Word in you. That’s your only hope. Dominate your thinking with it. I heard from Dr. Mike Murdock that he keeps speakers in trees in his house which are constantly playing audio Bible Scriptures. What an atmosphere! So I decided to do same in my apartment. Morning, noon and night, one of my unused phones housing over 100 messages and songs is playing. I am constantly hearing the right things and they condition my mind and my heart to think on things above not on things on the earth (Colossians 3:1-2). I’m saturated with truth daily. I know that if I don’t do that, my heart will be set on other things, which have the tendency to pollute me and make me go in the way of destruction. David said he hid God’s Word in his heart (Psalm 119:11). Jesus says you err because you do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God (Matthew 22:29). Paul says let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16).
I love an amazing thought David hinted in Psalm 119: he said, “How I love your law. It is my meditation all day.” (Verse 97).
What do you think about all day?
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2).
Let the Word of God regulate your thinking and then your actions will change, your habits will change and ultimately, your life will be set of the course God planned before the world began! Glory!
Of course, I can’t leave you without reminding you to guard your heart with all diligence and to think upon things that are true, noble, pure and of good report (Proverbs 4:23; Philippians 4:8).

I just wanna be HOT!

A Psalm of Consecration, Dedication & Separation

I don’t wanna be cold…

No no no no

I don’t wanna be lukewarm

No no no no

I just wanna be HOT!

Yes, HOT!

Full of the FIRE of the Holy Ghost

Fervent in Spirit

Walking in the Light of His Word

And piercing through the darkness

I wanna shine brightly for God

With the Truth of His Word

Walking in His Glory

Showing forth His Praise

No no no no

No more cold

No no no no

No more lukewarmness

I don’t wanna be spewed

Out of the mouth of the I AM

I wanna be ONLY HOT!

Blazing HOT like the Sun

Yes, the Son of Righteousness!
